Frosty Winter Browns
Although this outfit was made and sold a few months ago, I thought it would be interesting to show a photograph of the finished outfit with my inspiration for the outfit.
When I was out for a walk on the Cavehill on a frosty winter morning, I photographed the dead autumn leaves covered in frost. I really liked the colours in the photograph.I looked through my lace weight shetland wool choosing colours that reminded me of my photograph.
Although my initial samples featured the silvery grey of the frost, I found myself focusing on the earthy brown and russet shades of the leaves.
