Winter Warmth Collection - Part 2

The models are Annett (Gotz Sasha), her sister Anna (also by Gotz) and Matthew (my early 1968 Frido Gregor with beautiful eyes).

Annett is wearing a fun dark red tweedy knit ear flap hat with plaited ties.

Her gorgeous richly coloured polo neck alpaca sweater dress with long sleeves and a pocket on the front. Beautiful shades of red, gold, gren and chocolate brown.

This modern dress teams perfectly with the chocolate brown leggings.
To complete the outfit she is wearing chocolate Ugg boots.

Beautiful russet needlecord duffle coat fully lined with russet lining fabric. The coat fastens with suede loops and wooden toggles.
This coat also looks beautiful with the other outfits in the collection

Stunning floral cotton dress with a golden ochre background with a pattern of deep red roses and olive green foliage.
Gathered skirt.

Dark red peter pan collar. Short puffed sleeves with dark red piping accent and cuffs.

Hand knit lace weight ankle socks which tone with the background colour of the dress. The same wool was used to make the hair tie. To complete the outfit she has lovely dark red Mary Jane shoes which match the roses beautifully.

The warm brown cashmere yarn used for Matthew's hat and scarf is wonderfully soft to the touch. I used the sweater yarn for the stripes.

The warm brown draws out the lovely brown colour of his eyes.

His sweater is knit using a lovely sock yarn in many shades of russet and warm brown drifting into each other. The needlecord trousers are straight leg with pockets at the front. His socks match his sweater. The outfit is completed with a pair of laced black leather Bonika shoes.

I love Magenta, Mauve and Blue

Sarah who was the first Sasha I ever bought is lovely girl from 1975. She originally wore the red dress with white stitching on it. She is a little different than my other Sasha dolls as one of her legs is quite a bit shorter than the other. It can give her a very natural stance but makes her a bit harder to pose than other dolls in my collection.

I adore the colours in this sock wool. very rich tones of magenta, purple, mauve and pale blue. Beautiful combination.

I had a lovely needlecord in a dull mauve tone which looked beautiful with the sock wool.

The magenta needlecord I made the duffle coat from picks up the magenta in the sweater perfectly. I chose a mauve coloured lining for the coat which matches the corduroy trousers. I was lucky to find a mauve suede for the loops.

I haven't decided about socks yet.

Mellow yellow and sage

The yellow fingering weight wool was perfect for finishing off this outfit. I used it as a contrast for the I-cord loops on the hat and also for the mittens and the socks.

A very sweet looking outfit that looks gorgeous on Miriam my early 70's blonde Sasha girl.

I just love these colours on my blonde Sasha.

So pretty and delicate.

I made the duffle coat from a lovely finewale corduroy in mellow yellow.

The sweater was knitted using a beautiful new sock yarn which contains bamboo. It is a really nice yarn to knit with and has a lovely sheen.

Her trousers were made using a sage green finewale corduroy which is the perfect shade to match the sweater.

I love this outfit.

I think it needs socks though...

So exciting, yesterday I found the perfect mellow yellow wool that matches the duffle coat. I had been looking for a wool that either matched the duffle or the trousers. Without success until yesterday!
